Evolution of Women's Fashion in China

From confinement to liberation.

I created this evolution of women's fashion in China from Han Dynasty (Approximately 200 BC) to Modern 2020 as a personal project since I have always been interested in learning about Chinese art and fashion to learn more about history. 

​

Illustrating fashion trends is a great way to explore the manifestation of freedom and liberation from centuries of patriarchy, feudalism, and autocracy.
